I’m Cameron.
I’m a lawyer who writes.

I work in commercial law in Sydney. I also spend a lot of time thinking about what nobody tells you before you start — the gap between what law school prepares you for and what the first five years actually look like.

This site is where I write about that. Career advice, practise area decisions, the culture of firms, the things worth worrying about and the things that aren’t. Sometimes I write about other things too.
